Multiple Additional Dwelling Units are…
permitted within residential zones in the State of Washington as of June 2024 with the adoption of House Bill 1337. This bill requires all jurisdictions to allow for densification within the Urban Growth Boundary through the development of additional dwelling units in single-family zones. Depending on the specific residential zone your property may be allowed up to two (2) additional dwelling units.
